Festive Photography Contest!

DECEMBER PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

CRITERIA: Take a photo of something festive/holiday-themed! Examples being a Christmas tree,

decorative outdoor lights, ice-skaters, sledding, Santa, a Menorah, hot-chocolate, a snowy landscape, etc.!

This contest expands beyond just Break members- any teen from the community can join in!

Also please submit a short 1-sentence to 1-paragraph statement on where the photo was taken and

why you chose the visual medium.

Photos will be judged on creativity, impact, technical prowess, composition, subject-matter,

and story-telling (statement). Winner will receive a $20 Best Buy gift card!

1.) Photos must be submitted to admins on our Discord (https://discord.gg/4jcuDENH) 

or through Brenda@CLBreak.com. Please submit to @Jim, @Liisa, or @Suzy on Discord 

before 11:59 PM on Sunday, Dec 20th. If you are not a member at the center, please either

RSVP to this event or join our Discord and introduce yourself!

2.) Please do not post your contest photo on the photography channel until after the contest! 

You may post non-contest photos on the channel though!

3.) Any camera is acceptable- digital, polaroid, phone, ancient camera from the 1890s, etc.

If you need access to a scanner or photo-editing software (adobe suite apps like Photoshop), 

drop by the center when we're open!

4.) Only submit one photo and only use your own photos! Anyone found to be stealing

photos from other places will be disqualified from the current and all future contests.

5.) If you win, please drop by the center during our open hours to receive your prize!
